Short reads on men's health after 40, sorted for you
Intimacy after 40 comes with homework. Choose who sets it.
Past 40, plenty of men notice the same things and keep them to themselves: drive that used to show up unasked, a 3 a.m. trip down the hall, a bar at the gym that sits heavier than it did. Underneath all of it, you'd like to feel wanted by her again and steady in the bedroom, present for her, the kids and the job. Keel is a reading app about exactly that: new articles every week on Kegel practice, the postures you do it in, and intimacy for two, lined up by what you tell it.

Same app, a different feed for every reader
Nobody opens Keel to the same page. Three things decide what's waiting for you.
What you told itThe opening quiz asks your age band, how your week runs and what's on your mind: the bedroom, broken sleep, the gym. The feed is sorted from there.
Your calendarName your free minutes and new reads land in them: a 3-minute card at 10:15, a longer article at bedtime.
Your progressEach read you finish and each card you mark done moves the next one up a level. Skip a topic and it slides down the list.

A general app opens to
The same top-ten list for everyone, on every day of the year.
Keel opens to
Three picks for today, ordered by your quiz, your free minutes and what you read last.
Lying, seated, standing, lifted, low
A Kegel is a small, deliberate squeeze and a full let-go of the muscles you'd use to stop mid-stream. That's the whole move. What changes is the posture you do it in, and that's where most printouts stop at one line.
The printout
"Squeeze for 3, relax for 3, repeat."
A Keel card
The posture, where your hands go, the count, the minutes a day, and a nudge at a time you picked.
Most posture cards fit in the minutes before a walk or after one.
The Kegel routine, one card per posture
On your back, knees bentLying down, feet flat, one hand on your belly. Squeeze, hold for a slow count, let go all the way. The starter card.
4 min
Desk chair, both feet downSeated tall at the edge of the seat. Short holds between emails, nobody the wiser.
3 min
At the kitchen counterStanding, weight even on both feet, while the kettle does its thing.

Glute lift holdThe bridge: shoulders on the mat, lift, hold the squeeze at the top, lower one notch at a time.

Alongside the routine
Seated rotationsHip mobility: knees bent to one side, turn slowly to the other. A two-minute read with photos.
Belly count, on your backBreathing in for four through the nose, out for six. Out on the effort, every time.
Bird-dog and forearm plankCore work kept short: opposite arm and leg out on all fours, then a brief hold on the forearms.
The two-player chapter
The chapter most men open first, written for adults. You'd like to feel wanted by her, to feel sure of yourself in bed, to take your time and enjoy the night together. These reads name intimacy positions plainly and explain each one by three things: how comfortable it is, how close it keeps you, and how slow it lets the two of you go.
Side by side, face to faceBoth of you on your sides, eye to eye. Easy on stiff knees and a tired back, and easy to talk.ComfortCloseSlow
Nested, back to frontThe lazy-morning spoon: one behind the other, arms around. Quiet and unhurried, nobody carrying weight.ComfortClose
Sitting up, facingPropped on pillows against the headboard, face to face. A read about slowing down and staying in the moment.CloseSlow
Raising it on a walkNot a position. A short read on opening the subject side by side, outdoors, where talking feels lighter.Talk first
A late-night search
Loud, graphic, and written for nobody you know.
The Keel chapter
Calm language, named by comfort and pace, easy to read together.
The Captain tier adds a partner seat, so she can read the chapter on her own time.
Levels for reading, streaks with a grace day
Reading is the game. Each article you finish counts toward your streak, each saved list toward a small badge, each week toward the next level.
Solo

Who's reading alongside you
No leaderboard, no ratings. The community is a handful of small groups, each with its own rhythm, and you join the ones that match your week.
Sunday read-alongOne article for everyone, then a quiet thread through the afternoon.
The 50s and 60s tableGym regulars trading posture cards and swapping saved lists.
Desk-shift crewA 10 a.m. nudge for the desk-chair card, done wherever you sit.
Early birdsBefore-work reads at six, coffee optional.
Partners' circlePartners on a Captain seat read the two-player chapter and talk it over among themselves.
Between sets is a favorite slot for the 50s and 60s table.
The partners' circle tends to meet over early coffee.
Pick a tier, keep the streak
All three are billed monthly. The big number is your first month spread per day.
70% off month one
10:00
Keel bills monthly. Today you're charged the intro price of the tier you tapped, for month one only: $1.49 Deckhand, $1.99 First Mate or $2.99 Captain. On the same date each month after, the tier renews by itself at its regular price ($4.99, $6.99 or $9.99) until you cancel, which you can do anytime from Settings in the app or by contacting us — [email protected]
45 days to change your mind
Read for a month and a half. If Keel isn't your kind of reading, send one email within 45 days of your first charge and the full amount comes back.
No forms, no exit quiz, no hard feelings. Your saved lists stay put in case you return.
Small print, read out loud
Is the two-player chapter explicit?
No. It's written for adults in plain, calm language. Each position is described by comfort, how close it keeps you and how slow it lets you go. There are no photos of bodies and nothing crude.
Who can see what I read?
Only you. Saved lists and your streak are private. In crew groups you post under a handle you pick, and the app icon simply reads "Keel" on your home screen.
How do I stop the monthly renewal?
Open Settings in the app and cancel, or send an email. You keep reading until the end of the month you've paid for, and nothing renews after that.
